San Diego, CA – Mariachi Continental de San Diego is honored to return for the third consecutive year to the City Heights Library Concert Series, where they will close out the season with a powerful and immersive mariachi experience on May 25, 2024.
This year’s performance will be especially meaningful, as it will feature an opening set by Mariachi Nuevo Aguadulce from Sweetwater High School, a talented youth ensemble that is part of Mariachi Continental’s Apprenticeship Program. This initiative is designed to mentor and develop the next generation of mariachi musicians, ensuring that the tradition continues to thrive for years to come.

Mariachi Continental de San Diego has built a reputation for transforming the way audiences experience mariachi, blending musical excellence, storytelling, and cultural education to create performances that are both authentic and deeply engaging. As a San Diego-based ensemble, the group is committed to ensuring that mariachi remains accessible to all audiences, whether they grew up with the music or are experiencing it for the first time.
